This article will demonstrate how to create a route in the SalesRabbit iOS and Android mobile apps.



Create a Route (iOS)

This part will cover how to create a new route in the SalesRabbit iOS mobile app. Featured will be the Routing Icon and how to navigate a routing page.

  • From the mobile app, navigate to the SalesHub -> select the double pin "Route Icon".
  • After selecting the route icon, you'll be shown a list of all previous routes that have been created. Users can select an existing route to edit, or select the "+" icon in the upper right corner to create a new route from scratch.
  • Route Name:
    • Give your route a name (optional).

  • Start/End Points:
    • Enter in the address information for where you'd like this route to start and end.
    • Note: selecting the target icon on the right side will pull the address for your current physical location.

  • Waypoints:
    • Next, add the leads or waypoints you'd like to include as stops on your new route.
    • Select "Add Leads".

  • Users will be brought to a filter page where they can search/filter for the leads they'd like to add as waypoints.
    • Note: In the example below, we're filtering for leads that are marked with the "FLUP" and "APPT" statuses.
  • After setting filter for the leads you'd like to include, click "Next". 
  • Next, users will view a list of leads based on the filters that were set on the previous page.
  • Users will select the leads they'd like to add to the route.
    • Note: a single route can only include up to 23 waypoints/stops.
  • After selecting the leads you'd like to have on the route, click "Add".
  • The selected leads will now be included on your routing page under "Waypoints".
  • Optimization Options:
    • User will be able to enable certain optimization options. Enable any of these options as needed.
  • Click "Route It" once you've completed your route.
    • Note: selecting "Route It" will reorder your waypoints and place them in the order most effective to visit. Users are able to select an existing waypoint and move it up or down the list of waypoints to reorder in case of existing appointments/go back times.
  • Select the "Treasure Map" icon in the upper right corner to view your new route on the SalesHub Map.
  • The route information will then display on the SalesHub Map with route information at the top.
  • Each lead from the route will display on the map and they'll have a number in the upper left corner of each lead indicating the order in which it's most effective to visit.
  • Selecting "Close Route" will remove the route from the display, however, you can access/edit any created routes by reselecting the double pin "Route Icon".
  • To navigate to each lead, select the lead on the map -> click "Directions".
  • Selecting "Directions" will open Apple Maps/Google Maps/Waze and will route for that lead's address.

Create a Route with the Lasso Tool (iOS)

This part will demonstrate how to create a route or add a group of leads to an existing route using the Lasso Tool in the mobile app (iOS).

  • After adjusting your lead filters, select the "Lasso Tool" to circle around existing leads on the SalesHub Map.
  • After lassoing existing leads, a drawer will appear at the bottom of your screen.
  • To create a route for these leads, select "Route" -> "Create Route".
    • Note: lassoed leads can be used to create a new route, or be added to an existing route.
  • This action will as if you'd like to "Create New Route" or "Add to Existing Route". Select whichever option best fits your use case. In the example below, we will be adding the circled leads to the route we created in Part 1 of this article.
  • Select the route to add the circled leads to.
  • The lasso'd leads should be listed under "Waypoints" -> click "Route It" -> select the "Treasure Map" icon.
    • Note: you can manually add leads to the route by select "Add Leads" on the right hand side and filtering for the leads you'd like to add to the route.

This part will cover how to create a new route in the SalesRabbit Android mobile app. Featured will be the Routing Icon and how to navigate a routing page.



  • From the mobile app, navigate to the SalesHub -> select the double pin "Route Icon".

    • Give your route a name (the name will default to today's date).
    • Enter your Starting and Ending addresses.
    • Ensure that all waypoints were added (Max of 23 waypoints on a single route).
      • Note: you can manually add leads to the route by select "Add Leads" on the right hand side and filtering for the leads you'd like to add to the route.
  • Users have the ability to turn on "Optimization Options"; these options will change the route based on which toggles you enable.
  • Once you've completed your route, select "Route It!". This action will reorder your leads.
  • Finally, to view your route, select the "Treasure Map" icon in the upper right corner to take you back to the map.

Pro Tips

  • Currently, routing will only support up to 23 waypoints/stops per route.
  • Users manage their own routes. Routes cannot be created for other users.
