Viewing Proximity Indicator (iOS)

This part will demonstrate how to view Proximity Indicator in the SalesHub Map on the SalesRabbit iOS mobile app. After enabling the proximity indicator setting on your own device, users will be able to view a small icon in the upper right corner of each individual lead, indicating the rep's proximity to the lead when it's status was last updated. There are 4 different icons for Proximity Indicator:

  • Green Check Mark: the user was < 25 meters from the lead when it's status was last updated.
  • Yellow Double Arc: the user was > 25 meters and < 100 meters from the lead when it's status was last updated.
  • Red X: the user was > 100 meters away from the lead when it's status was last updated.
  • Gray Question Mark: indicates that the user's location could not be determined. Typically, this occurs when the user's device location services are not enabled, when the lead was imported on the Web App, or the lead's status was updated from the Web App.

  • The Proximity Indicator can also be viewed within each lead on the "Activity" tab.
  • Select an existing lead -> click the "See Activity".
  • This action will take you to that lead's activity tab and display a history of lead ownership and status changes.
  • To the right of each recorded change, the proximity indicator will log the location of whichever user modified or created the leads.
    • Note: it is independent of the lead owner (i.e. a manager could modify the status of a lead and it would log the manager's location, not the lead owner's location).
  • Selecting the proximity icon will take to to a map view where users will be able to see, specifically, where the user was when they made the change/update.
  • In the attached example, the user's location is displayed on the left and the location of the lead is on the right. This is where the user was when they updated the status of that lead.
