This article provides step by step instructions for users to reset their SalesRabbit account passwords if they forget them; as well as instructions for Owners or Admins to reset their password and the passwords of their users in the web version of SalesRabbit.
TIP: Once the account is created, a user will automatically be sent an email with a link to the SalesRabbit account login portal where they will be able to set their own password. They can also use the login portal to reset their password if they forgot their password by clicking "Forgot Password".
Part 1: Forgot Password
Logging in and resetting password.
- Go to https://salesrabbit.com and Log in to your SalesRabbit account with your current email and password.
- Input your email address that is associated with your SalesRabbit account.
- Click the option for "Forgot Password?".
- You will be prompted to confirm/re-enter your email address. Double check that you used the email associated with your account.
- Check your email for the password reset instructions.
- Follow the steps to reset your password.
Part 2: Changing Passwords as an Owner or Admin
This part covers changing passwords with owner or admin permissions either for your own account or for your users.
- Log in to the Webb App
- Navigate to the "Users" option on the left-hand menu.

Select any user by clicking on the user's row.
- Note: you can only edit users of your rank or below. An admin cannot edit an owner's role.
- Once in the user's profile, select the option to "Reset Password".
- Be sure to follow all of the password requirements and then click "Save".

Once you click "Save" the password will be reset.
- Note: owners and admins may follow these steps to reset their own passwords; however, if they have forgotten their password they must follow the steps above in Part 1.
Pro Tips
Best practice: allow individual users to set their own passwords rather then setting passwords on behalf of the users.
- For security, it is a good idea to use a phrase for password and incorporate the password requirements.
- Avoid using your name or elements of your name, pet's names, or common passwords such as "Password123!".
