This article provides instructions for reassigning lead ownership on the SalesRabbit mobile app for Android devices.
TIP:The ability to change lead ownership depends on the user's role and the permissions associated with that role. Owners will have the permission naturally, for all other users, be sure the permission to "Manage Other's Leads" is enabled. Even if you are changing the ownership of a lead you already own, this permission needs to enabled.
Reassign leads on an individual basis in the app.
Part 1: Enable Permissions
Steps for enabling the permission to manage other's leads.
- Sign in to SalesRabbit on the website, SalesRabbit.com (desktop version)
- Navigate to the "Settings" option in the left-hand menu.
- On the Settings page, navigate to the "Users" column and click the option for "Roles & Permissions"
- On the left side, select the role you need to edit by clicking the title of the role.
- Navigate to the "Manage Other's Leads" permission on the Permission column then click the toggle switch on the right side to change the Status form "Off" to "On".
- Now that the permission is changed it will save automatically and will apply to all users of the Role you have edited.
Part 2: Change Lead Owners
This part will cover steps for changing lead ownership on an Android device.
- Open your SalesRabbit mobile app on your Android device and Sign In.
- Access the "SalesHub" by tapping the menu in the upper right-hand corner (three horizontal lines stacked on top of each other).
- In the SalesHub, select the lead you would like to change ownership for, either from the "Map" or from the "Leads" list.
- Once the lead is selected, tap the Edit tool (pencil icon) to access the lead information card.
- In the lead information card, navigate to the section that says "Lead Ownership".
- Tap the word "CHANGE"
- A list of Users will appear, just select the User who should be the new Lead Owner.
- A check mark will appear on the right of the user selected.
- Select "Save" on the top right corner and the ownership will update.
- You will be taken back to the Lead Information Card and there, under Lead Ownership, the name of the new user will show where it says "Owned by".
