This article provides steps on how to end and delete a competition in Amplify. This action requires a user with Admin privileges in Amplify. It's important to note that deleting a competition is irreversible and will remove it entirely from Amplify without the possibility of recovery.
TIP: A user may have Admin privileges in Amplify without affecting their role and permissions in SalesRabbit. Here is a link on Enabling Amplify for the First Time which has section on the organization structure in Amplify.
Part 1: Access Competitions in Amplify
Accessing Amplify and Navigating to the Competitions section.

Log in to your Amplify account at app.amplify.salesrabbit.com
- the email and password to sign in is the same as your SalesRabbit account.
- From the main page, navigate to "Competitions" in the left-hand menu.

Select "Competitions" in the left-hand menu to open the "Competitions" page.
- At the top of the page under the title, you can select "Active" to view current active competitions or select to "Draft" to view competitions that are still being edited or that have not started yet.

Search the competition you want to end or delete by typing a title or description in the search bar.
- You can also narrow down your search with the drop down options for "Created by", "Departments", and "Teams". Just select the drop down arrow to view the options and select the option you need.
- Competitions that match your search criteria will appear below, all competitions will be visible if there is no given criteria.
- Simply scroll the page and locate the competitions you are looking for.
Part 2: Ending a Competition
How to manually end a competition.
- Once you find the competition you would like to end click on the three vertical dots on the far right side of the competition row.

A list of options will appear on the right, simply select the option "End".
- Competitions end automatically when they reach the end date. The end date would have been set when you created the competition. This option is for ending competitions early.
- When you select "End" a warning message will appear and ask "Are you sure?" just select the red box that says "End" and the competition will end.
- Once ended, the competition end date will change to the date you manually ended it and it will appear in the "Completed" section of the competition page.
Part 3: Deleting a Competition
How to delete a competition.
- Just like in Part 2, locate the competition you are trying to delete and then click on the three vertical dots on the far right of the competition row.

From the list of options that appear, select the option for "Delete".
- NOTE: This action cannot be undone. Deleting a competition permanently removes it from the system and it will not appear in the competition history.
- Once you select "Delete" a window will appear asking "Are you sure?". At that point just click the red box that says "Delete" and the competition will be deleted along with all competition results.
