Learn how to create a Standard competition in Amplify, outlining steps from selecting competition types to defining prizes, ensuring a comprehensive setup for engaging and motivating performance.
To begin, navigate to your Amplify Web through your Salesrabbit Web App.
Part 1:
- To begin, go to 'Competitions' on the left hand side and click the button 'Create New' in the upper right hand corner.
Part 2:
The Type of Competition you select, the details of the selected Competition Type. Layout, Participants, Settings & Setting Goals for your Competition.
- As an example: Start by selecting Standard in the competition creation wizard.
Choose a competition layout displayed on TV-monitors, proceeding with the wizard's option off to the right hands side.
Decide between competing Teams, Companies, or create Custom Teams for the competition.
- Define the Competition's name, timeframe, Competition metric(s), and other key settings.
Part 3:
This covers a setting of allowing your users to have set goals that will end the competition ahead of the selected timeframe. If a user hits a goal, they will be titled winner 1, winner 2, etc.
- Select the 'Yes' option and click on the bar with the amount of users '6 goals not set'
- This will pull up a page that will allow you to set Goal Amounts on each user that is within the competition. Make sure to hit the save button if you would like to have Goals on your Standard Competition.
The Goal feature is optional, so leave your competition selected on 'No' Goals if you are not interested in setting goals to end the competition early.
Part 4:This section will cover the Goals that you will set as winning prizes.
- Set up prizes for the competition winners, with options for multiple prizes.
- Click 'Step 5' to select prizes, you can even set custom prizes rather than only coin based.
When customizing your Goals, you can also customize the amount of prizes
Part 5:
Step 6: Advanced Settings.You can select which winners to display and what options you would like to set if there is a Tie Breaker.
- Select 'Step 6' and click the drop down 'Set advanced options'.
- Select how many winners to display, there is also a custom option.
- You have the ability to enable a winner announcement, you would just pick the date to announce it.
- If a tie occurs you can decide if you want to randomly decide who is the winner or you can manually select the winner.
- Don't forget to save your advanced options.
- When you are done setting up your Standard Competition make sure you click the save button.
