This article teaches how to customize your Amplify dashboard widgets to effectively visualize your team/user data. In this article, you will learn how to create/edit, resize, and rearrange the widgets on your dashboards.

Part 1: Create a Widget
This part guides you through creating a new widget on your Amplify Dashboard. Widgets allow users to effectively visualize your data.
- From your Amplify Dashboard, click on "+ New Widget".

The widget creation page will appear, allowing you to select the following options:

Metric: select the metric you'd like to track in this widget. In the example below, the Appointment Set metric is what will be tracked.
- Note: If you'd like to track multiple metrics in a single widget, you'll need to create an Activity Flow.

Layout: choose how you'd like the data to display. Options to display data include Bar Graph, Number, Pie Chart, Line Graph, or a Table.
- Note: options for orientation, variant, trend line will appear depending on your selected layout.
- View by: choose how you'd like the data to display (ie: User, Team, Company...).

Metric: select the metric you'd like to track in this widget. In the example below, the Appointment Set metric is what will be tracked.
- Once you've configured this widget, click "Create Widget" to add it to your dashboard.
- The new widget will appear at the bottom of your dashboard, where you can resize and rearrange the widget.
- Edit the layout of an existing widget by selecting the cogwheel icon on the widget.
Part 2: Resize a Widget
This part offers step-by-step instructions on resizing the widgets on your dashboards.
- After navigating to your Amplify Dashboard, select the cogwheel icon on the widget you'd like to resize -> select "Resize".
- A panel appears on the right, containing a 4x4 grid pattern.
- The grid illustrates the possible sizes the widget can be. Hovering over the different tiles in the grid will change the size of the widget. The widget your adjusting will resize as you navigate the different grid tiles.
- Select the desired widget size.
- Click "Save" when you find your optimal widget size.
Part 3: Rearrange a Widget
This part offers step-by-step instructions on how to use the "Arrange" button on an Amplify Dashboard. Arranging allows the user to adjust the position/order of your widgets to fit your preference.
- Navigate to the Amplify Dashboard you'd like to rearrange.
- Select "More Actions" -> "Arrange".
- A panel appears on the right side with your board's widgets represented as tiles.
- Drag and Drop these tiles to rearrange your dashboard.
- Once satisfied with your new layout, click "Save" to apply your changes.
Pro Tips
- Mobile App Widgets can also be created to view the same data on the mobile app.
- Create a Leaderboard Widget by selecting the Bar Graph layout option visible by user.
