This article will cover how to reset a User's password in the Web app for SalesRabbit.
TIP: This ability is only available to the roles which have the permissions to "Manage Users" in SalesRabbit.
Part 1: Users Details Page
- From the Users tab click on the User whose password you would like to reset.
- This will take you to the User Details Page.
Part 2: Resetting the Password
- Click on the Reset Password Button. This will bring up the Reset Password Pop-up.
- Next, choose the new password for the User that meet the minimum requirements.
- at least 8 characters, 1 upper case letter, 1 lower case letter, 1 number and 1 special character. (ie: Password1!)
- You must renter the password and it must match the first entry. When you have met all the requirements the "Passwords must contain:" section will grey out and get a checkbox.
- Then click save and the password will be immediately updated for the user and a black banner will show at the bottom of the screen confirming the new password has been saved.
Pro Tips
- Changing the password of a User does NOT log them out of their device.
- It will however prevent them from logging in if they do not have the new password.
- Provide the new password to the rep in a secure way if possible. Do not share via unencrypted text formats, such as email and text.
