Article Overview

This Article will teach you how to Reactivate an Inactive User.

TIP: IThis ability is only available to the roles which have the permissions to "Manage Users" in the SalesRabbit Web App. This will not restore deleted users.

Reactivating a User:

  • To reactivate a user you must first find their user profile on the dashboard.
  • First go to the Users page.
  • This will take you to the Users page, where Inactive users have been automatically filtered out by default.

  • To view your inactive users,  you will have to adjust the filter. Click on the filter button.

  • Under "Filter Users" you will want to change the status either to All or Inactive.
    • All - This will cause your list of users on the page to show both active and inactive users.
    • Inactive - This will enact  list on this page to only show your inactive users.

  • Once you have changed the status accordingly click "Done."

  • From there you can either click on the user you would like to reactivate or select the box(es) next to their name(s) and click Activate.

  • If you click on the Inactive User it will take you to the User Detail Page where you will need to activate the user from the Status drop down menu.

  • Once the user is set to Active they will be able to log back into SalesRabbit.
    • The password they set will be the same unless it is changed.

Pro Tips

It is best practice to Inactivate users instead of Deleting them.

  • Inactive users data is not deleted just hidden from view.
  • Deleted users data is also removed and can only be recovered through an API call.
