We Recommend Inactivating a User vs. Deleting Them
Deleting a user will permanently delete their data, as well as make it difficult to use their email again.
Inactivating a user will allow you to not be charged for the user. While also retaining the ability to access their data by switching them back to Active, or if they work for the company again it's very simple to get them going again.
Note: This ability is only available to the roles which have the permissions to "Manage Users" in SalesRabbit.
To reassign leads prior to inactivating the profile, click HERE for video tutorial, or HERE for screen shot tutorial.
Inactivating a User:
When a User is inactivated, their profile is preserved, and their leads are archived rather than deleted (when a user's profile is deleted, their data is permanently deleted with the profile). Companies are not charged for users that are listed as "Inactive."
A User can be inactivated by going to the "Users" tab, on the web app, within the left hand menu. After navigating to the Users page, select the user's profile that you want to edit.
On the user's details page, there is a field called "Status" - this field has the options of "Active" and "Inactive." To remove an active user from SalesRabbit, click the drop down and change the status to "Inactive."
Once you set the status to "Inactive," the change will autosave and user will be made inactive, and filtered out of the list of Active Users. They will also no longer have access to the SalesRabbit app.
Note: ***While companies are not set to be charged for "inactive" users, companies do have minimum users preset to their contract. Please call (801) 418-9009 if you have any questions about your bill.***
Deleting a User:
To delete a user, click on Users in the left hand menu, then click on the user's name. In the user's detail page, click on the "Delete" button in the top right.
Note: ***When you click "Delete" you will get a message notifying you that if you delete that user you will lose the user and ALL of their history and leads.***
