Article Overview
This article will walk users through the steps to create and customize achievements in Amplify. Achievements offer a pathway to engage and motivate your team with personalized milestones.
Note: in order to manage achievements, a user's Amplify account must have the permission to manage achievements. To make this change, navigate to "Manage" -> "Users" -> select the desired user -> "Admin Access" -> check the "Achievements" permission. Account Owners/Admins have this permission enabled by default.

Part 1: Create an Achievement
This part will cover how to create a new achievement in Amplify.
- From Amplify on the Web, navigate to "Achievements" -> the select "Manage Achievements" in the upper right corner.
- This page allows you to edit, disable, delete, and create new achievements.
- Select "+ Create New" to build a new achievement.
-
Step 1: Select what type of achievement this will be:
- Goal: earned by surpassing a fixed value, target progression, or a previous period. Once exceeded, the achievement is unlocked (example: "10 sales in a single day").
- High-Score: earned by surpassing the highest sales value, which then becomes the new benchmark for others to beat. The high-score value moves as salespeople outperform each other (example: "Highest sales value in a month")
- Top Performer: earned based on the best sales performance within a specified time frame. These recognize the top performer during that period (example: "Top seller of the month").
- Step 2: select the metric this achievement will use to track numbers.
-
Step 3: set the Unlock Requirements
- Unlocking requirements will changed depending on the option chosen in Step 1.
- Unlocking requirements include detailing how the rep can earn the achievement and how often the achievement can be earned.
- Step 4: Define which teams can unlock your new achievement
-
Step 5: on the right of your screen;
- Name the achievement (select a default name, or provide a custom title)
- Provide a description (detailing the unlocking requirements)
- Select a badge
- Optionally, add a Screen Celebration that plays when the rep earns the achievement.
- Once complete, click "Save and Publish" in the bottom right corner.
- Your achievement is now active and unlockable!
Part 2: Edit an Achievement
This part will cover how to edit an existing achievement in Amplify.
- From Amplify on the Web, navigate to "Achievements" -> select the achievement you'd like to edit.
- This page will provide details about the selected achievement such as a history of who's unlocked the achievement, a leaderboard of who's unlocked it the most, and a leaderboard of who has the longest streak.
- To edit an achievement, click "Edit".
- You'll be brought to the editing page for that specific achievement where users can make adjustments to the metric tracked in the achievement, the unlock requirements, and other general achievement settings.
- Once finished making adjustments, select "Save Changes".
Part 3: Delete/Disable an Achievement
This part will cover how to delete/disable an existing achievement in Amplify.
- From Amplify on the Web, navigate to "Achievements" -> the select "Manage Achievements" in the upper right corner.
- From this page, search for the achievement you'd like to delete/disable, and select the three dot icon.
-
Deleting achievements will include an additional prompt, asking to confirm the deletion.
- Note: deleting achievements has significant implications, including the removal of all trigger records and badges from sales reps' profiles. Alternatively, achievements can be disabled to avoid these consequences.
- Disabled achievements will remove them from the list of active achievements. Users can access disabled achievement by selecting the "Show Disabled" checkbox a near the top of the screen.
- Disabled achievements will appear on your list, although they will have a line strike through them.
- Disabled achievements can be edited, deleted, or re-enabled.
