Article Overview

The following steps are required to setup the CompanyCam integration through the SalesRabbit Marketplace. Setting up this integrations allows users to create a project and upload any attached lead files in CompanyCam through form submission.

TIP: This integration is only available to customers on SalesRabbit's Pro or Enterprise membership plans. Additionally administrative access is required in order to access API keys and other credentials/settings in configuring this integration.


Part 1: Create Company Cam API Key

This part covers how to retrieve/create an API key within CompanyCam to use for this integration.

  • Log into CompanyCam -> click your profile picture -> select "Access Tokens".
  • Copy the key and use it for the step above.

Part 2: Form Creation

This part will demonstrate how to build the form used to submit SalesRabbit Lead Information into Company Cam.

  • From the SalesRabbit Web App, select "Settings" -> click "Form Builder".

  • Click on "+ New Form" in the upper right corner.

  • In the upper left corner, name your new form (ex: Push to CompanyCam).
  • Open the "Lead Fields" dropdown and drag the following fields onto your new form.

  • A completed form will look like this:

  • Before publishing, click the cogwheel icon in the upper left corner and enable "Custom Form Responses".
  • Then click "Publish" and confirm.

Part 3: CompanyCam Integration Configuration Wizard

This part will walk through the pages of SalesRabbit's Marketplace CompanyCam configuration wizard. Be sure to have completed the previous 2 steps in this article before running the configuration.

  • From the SalesRabbit Web App, navigate to "Integrations" -> "Marketplace" -> select the "CompanyCam" tile.

  • Select "Configuration" -> click "Enable".

  • Company Cam Setup Page:
    • Form Name:
      • Use the dropdown to select the form that was created during part 2 of this article. 
    • Company Cam API Key:
      • Paste the API key from part 1 of this article into the space provided.
    • Click "Finish" to complete the configuration wizard.

  • Your CompanyCam integration should now be live and allow you to create leads in CompanyCam through form submission! If you have any issues or problems please reach out to support or your CSM for help configuring this integration. 
  • Note: If you wish to disable or reconfigure this integration at any time you can do so by clicking "Disable" or "Reconfigure" respectively.  Additionally, if the integration is currently live you should see an "enabled" indicator on the integration.
