Article Overview

This article covers how to select Leads in bulk through the iOS app and the actions that may be taken with the selection of Leads.

Note: These available tools are dependent on your SalesRabbit user Permissions.



Part 1: Lasso Tool

This part will demonstrate how to access the Lasso Tool in the mobile app SalesHub.

  • From the SalesRabbit mobile app, navigate to "SalesHub".
  • The "Lasso Tool" is represented by a finger drawing icon in the upper left corner.
  • Select the lasso tool to trace your finger around a area/neighborhood.
  • The lasso tool can be used to create/assign areas, reassign lead ownership in bulk, update leads in bulk, and bulk lead deletion.

Part 2: Create an Area

This part will demonstrate how to create an area using the Lasso Tool.

Note: users whose role has the "Manage Areas" permission will be able to perform this action.

  • After selecting the lasso tool, use your finger to trace around the area you'd like to create.

  • After completing your shape, a green banner will appear at the top of the screen confirming your area has been created.
  • Additionally, a pop-out will appear, asking which user(s) should be assigned to the new area -> click "Save".

  • The area will then turn to that user's User Color and a summary of the area will appear.
  • To update an area assignment, click "Edit" or delete the area with the trash can icon.

Part 3: Lasso Options

This lasso tool can also be used to perform bulk actions on existing leads. This part will show the options available if lassoing a group of existing leads.

  • Select the "Lasso Tool" -> use your finger to trace around a group of existing leads.
  • A "Lasso Options" drawer will appear at the bottom of the screen.

  • Lasso Options provides detail into:
    • How many leads have been lasso'd and a breakdown of how many leads of each status there are:
      • Tip: deselect a specific status to avoid performing bulk actions on leads marked with that status.

    • Any users that own lasso'd leads:
      • Tip: deselect a specific user's name to avoid performing bulk actions on leads owned by that user.

Part 4: Bulk Update Lead Ownership

This lasso tool can also be used to perform bulk actions on existing leads. This part will demonstrate how to update the lead ownership in bulk.

Note: users whose role has the "Manage Others Leads" permission will be able to perform these actions on other user's leads.

  • Select the "Lasso Tool" -> use your finger to trace around a group of existing leads.
  • From "Lasso Options" drawer, deselect any statuses/owners whose leads shouldn't be updated -> click "Ownership".

  • Select the name of the user who should be assigned the leads -> click "Update".
  • A prompt will appear, confirming the change. Confirm the change.
  • Those leads will then be reassigned to the selected user!

Part 5: Route Leads

This lasso tool can also be used to perform bulk actions on existing leads. This part will demonstrate how to create a route for multiple lasso'd/selected leads.

  • Select the "Lasso Tool" -> use your finger to trace around a group of existing leads.
  • From "Lasso Options" drawer, deselect any statuses/owners whose leads shouldn't be routed for -> click "Route".
    • Tip: only 23 leads can be routed on the same route. Users are only able to route for leads they own.

  • A prompt will appear asking if users would like to:
    • Create a New Route for the lasso'd leads.
    • Add the lasso'd leads to an Existing Route.
    • Cancel.
  • Users will then be taken to a Routing Page, however, the lasso'd/selected leads will appear as "Waypoints".

Part 6: Bulk Status Change

This lasso tool can also be used to perform bulk actions on existing leads. This part will demonstrate how to update the status of lasso'd/selected leads in bulk.

Note: users whose role has the "Manage Others Leads" permission will be able to perform these actions on other user's leads.

  • Select the "Lasso Tool" -> use your finger to trace around a group of existing leads.
  • From "Lasso Options" drawer, deselect any statuses/owners whose status shouldn't be updated -> click "Status".

  • Select the status the lasso'd/selected leads should be updated to -> click "Update".
  • A prompt will appear confirming the status change, click "Continue" to confirm.
  • A green banner will appear at the top of the screen, confirming the lasso'd/selected lead's status have been updated.

Part 7: Bulk Delete Leads

This lasso tool can also be used to perform bulk actions on existing leads. This part will demonstrate how to delete lasso'd/selected leads in bulk.

Note: only users whose role has the "Batch Delete Leads" permission enabled will have this option.

  • Select the "Lasso Tool" -> use your finger to trace around a group of existing leads.
  • From "Lasso Options" drawer, deselect any statuses/owners whose leads shouldn't be deleted -> click "Delete".

  • A prompt will appear, indicating how many leads will be removed -> click "Remove" to permanently delete the lasso'd/selected leads.
  • A green banner will appear at the top of the screen, confirming the deletion of the lasso'd/selected leads.

Part 8: Lasso DataGrid Pins

This lasso tool can also be used to perform bulk actions on DataGrid Pins.

Note: only account with the DataGrid AI add-on will have these features available to them. Additionally, you may need to be assigned an area in order to view DataGrid Pins on the map.

  • Select the "Lasso Tool" -> use your finger to trace around a group of DataGrid Pins.
  • From "Lasso Options" drawer, navigate to "DataGrid".
  • Options to "Remove" the DataGrid Pins and to mass "Convert" DataGrid Pins into leads will be available.
    • Note: users are able to deselect "Poor", "Good", "Excellent" and "No Score" DataGrid pins and choose to only Remove/Convert specific pins.

  • When Removing, the pins will no longer be made available. To repopulate the pins, remove yourself from the area assignment then reassign it to yourself.
  • When Converting multiple DataGrid pins into leads, you'll be asked which status to convert the pin to.
