Article Overview 

This article will cover the actions that can be done the SalesHub Map on the Web App. Those actions include creating/editing/assigning areas, viewing/editing leads, and adjusting your map filters.

TIP: Certain actions like creating areas and editing leads will depend on your Role's permission set.


Part 1: SalesHub Map Overview

This part will introduce you to the SalesHub Map on the Web App. 

  • Login to SalesRabbit on a desktop.
  • The map will be found under "SalesHub" -> "Map" in the left side bar.
  • Basic functions that can be performed on the SalesHub Map include:
    • Creating a lead
    • Creating an area
    • Searching a location/address
    • Applying filters
    • Access to map settings

Part 2: Managing Areas on the Web App

This part will demonstrate how to create and manage areas on the Web App Map.

  • Navigate to the location you would like to create an area for.
  • Select the "Area Tool Drawer" icon in the upper right corner. It's represented by a constellation.
  • Then, select the office that this area will be for. The list of users you can assign to the newly created area will depend on the office selected.
  • Your cursor will turn into a "+" symbol. Create an area by clicking on a starting point on the map -> move your mouse and click again, dropping a new point -> repeat until you complete the area's shape.
  • Once the area's shape is complete, an "Area Info" box will appear where you're able to choose which rep(s) will be assigned to this new area.
  • Additionally, the area info box will contain options to view the number of homes in this new area, the ability to select existing leads in that area, and the ability to delete that area.
  • Once a user has been assigned to the area, it will turn to that user's color.
  • User are able to make edits to existing areas by selecting any area on the map and accessing that area's "Area Info" box.

Part 3: Creating a Lead on the Web App Map

This part will cover how to create a new lead from the Web App Map.

  • Users can drop and create a new lead on a home from the map in the SalesHub on the Web.
  • To do so, select the "Lead" pin icon in the upper right corner. This will open your Lead Tool Drawer -> select "Create New Lead".

 

  • Select the lead status you'd like to use for the new lead.
  • Your cursor will then turn into a "+" icon, and allow you to drop the status on a home on the map.
  • After placing the status on the home, a lead details pop out will appear on the right side.
  • Select the "Edit" pencil icon the add information to the lead.
    • Note: for more detailed information, we recommend adding that information from the Lead's List page.
  • Users can select other existing leads on the map and make the same edits.

Part 4: Map Layers & Lead Filters

This part will cover how to edit your current map settings and filters.

  • To edit your map settings on the web, select the "Map Layers" icon on the right right side.
  • Options to toggle on/off your areas, leads, and user locations will appear. Additionally, users are able to change what type of map they'd like to view (street, satellite, or hybrid).
  • Lead filters can be found in the upper right corner of the map under "Filter Leads".
  • Here, you can decide which leads you'd like to display on the map.
  • Date Range Filters: allows users to filter for leads that were created, updated, or have an appointment scheduled within a specified date range.
  • Status Filter: allows users to filter for leads currently marked with a specific status(es).
  • After setting you filter, select "Apply"
  • Lead Filters and Map layers work together to display the information that you would like to view on the map.
  • If you have a filter applied (date range or status), a small notification will appear in the upper right corner of the "Filter Leads" box.
