How can I start a Battle?

This article guides Company Admins on how to access and manage Battles in Amplify, from initiating new battles to accepting or declining battle invites. It provides step-by-step instructions for navigating the Battles page, customizing battle invites, and viewing battle requests..

TIP: A user does not need to have Admin access to create and invite others users to Battles or to see their own battle stats.


Part 1: Log in to Amplify and Access Battles

Logging in to Amplify and navigating to the Battles page.

  • Log in to your Amplify account at app.amplify.salesrabbit.com
    • The email and password needed to sign in is the same as your SalesRabbit account.
  • From the home page, navigate to the menu on the left-hand side and select the option for "Battles".

  • Once you select Battles you will automatically be routed to the Battles page.

Part 2: Managing Battles

Navigating the Battles page and options for managing battles.

  • At the top of the Battles page, you will see a section for stats on the left where you will also see your name and the number of Battles you've completed.
    • Battles wins - the number of battles you have won.
    • # Battles - the total number of battles you have participated in.
    • Winrate - a percentage of the battles you have won out of the total you participated in.
  • Beneath the stats you will see "Battle requests" and the icon of a mailbox, this is where the invitations to battles appear and where you can choose to accept or decline them.
  • Below "Battle requests" you will se various options for viewing different battle information.
    • My Battles - shows all of your battles that you are currently involved in.
    • Battle History - shows all previous battles (for admins).
    • All Battles - shows all of the battles in the organization.
    • Leaderboard - shows the users in order of who has won the most battles at the top and the least at the bottom.
  • Select the button for "Manage Battles" in the upper right-hand side to create battles and see more options for managing your battles.

  • Selecting the "Manage Battles" button will automatically direct you to the "manage battles' page.

Part 3: Creating Battles

How to create battles and invite users to battles as well as other options for managing battles.

  • At the top of the "Manage Battles" page there are various options to view battle information.
    • In progress - shows current active battles
      • Note: A user can only participate in 3 active battles at a time.
    • Pending - shows battles that have either not started yet or that you have been invited to but have not accepted.
    • Completed - shows a history of your completed battles.
    • Cancelled - shows battles that were declined or otherwise cancelled.
  • To create a battle, select the "+ New Battle" button on the upper right-hand side.

  • After selecting "+ New Battle" a box will appear for you to fill out. Here is where you can select your opponent, the metric you would like to battle over, and the time frame the battle will take place in.
    • If a user without Admin permissions does this, they are automatically "Opponent 1" and they select "Opponent 2". Admins can create battles on behalf of their users.

After adding the necessary information, you will be able to create the battle.

  • Select the drop down arrows in Opponent 1 and Opponent 2 to select the opponents, the drop down will show you a list of users to scroll through.
  • Select the red box "Select Metric" to choose from your metrics which one you and your opponent are going to battle over.
  • Select the time period this battle will occur in. You can select the drop down under "Period" to select a quick date range such as "Today" or "This week', or select a custom date range by selecting a starting date in the "From" box by selecting the calendar icon, and then select an. ending date in the "To" box.
  • You can also select the toggle switch in the box "Private Battle" to make you battle private so that the other users can't see the battle or the results.

  • The winner will be determined by whoever has the most of the metric selected unless you toggle the switch to "Set a goal". If this is turned on, then the battle will end as soon as one of the opponents hits the goal within the given time period. You can either type the number into the box or use the up and down arrows to determine the goal.
  • When you are done you can select "Create" in the lower right-hand side. Once created an invite will automatically send to your opponent where they can wither accept or decline your battle. If you created the battle on behalf of someone else, and invitation will send to both opponents.

 


Pro Tips

Users can also wager coins when they battle to up the stakes.

Battle results will be posted to the Battles page as well as the feed on the home page.
