This article will demonstrate how to adjust your account's Customer Locator settings. Customer Locator settings allow you to decide how users can see Imported Customer Pins from the SalesRabbit mobile app. Customer Pins are only visible from the mobile app, after they've been imported on the Web App, and if the user is within the defined radius chosen in these settings.
TIP: In order for any user to view customer pins, their Role must have the "Customer Locator" permission enabled.
Part 1: Accessing Customer Locator Settings
This part will demonstrate how to navigate to and make adjustments to your account's customer locator settings.
- From the SalesRabbit Web App, navigate to "Settings" -> select "Customer Locator".

Customer Locator:
- Use the dropdown to select one of the following options:
- Off: marking this option will disable your imported customer pins from appearing in the mobile app.
- Display Name: marking this option will display the Name of the customer when a user selects an existing customer pin from the mobile app.
- Display Name and Address: marking this option will display the Name and Address of the customer when a user selects an existing customer pin from the mobile app.
- Use the dropdown to select one of the following options:

Location Radius (miles):
- Users will only be able to view customer pins on homes in the mobile app within a specified radius of their current physical location.
- Select the radius that a user will be able to view imported customer pins from their current physical location.
- Available options include (in miles); 0.25, 0.50, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50.
- Note: the intention behind customer locator is to be able to view customer pins on homes within the neighborhood/area they are actively canvassing in. We recommending keeping the radius settings small.
- Click "Save" to apply your changes.
