This article will cover how to send and receive chat messages; it will also cover how to look at recent news articles posted by the Owner & Admins within the account.

Part 1: Chat - Messages

Setting the individual & group messages

  • To access 'Chat' & 'News', click messages within the lower banner of your screen. Here you will have all the existing messages listed. In the upper right-hand corner, you have the manage chat permissions enabled.

  •  Click on the box with the pencil & paper icon to start a chat.

  • Here you can choose by individual users. You can click on the 'Group' tab to select offices to chat with. Click 'Done' and give the message a name. Next click 'Create'. You can now create your first message.

  • In addition to writing messages, you can click on the plus icon to upload any photo or video. You can upload files as well.
  • If you click settings in the upper right-hand corner, you can see who is a member of this chat. You can add members to chats.
  • You can rename the group & delete the conversation.


Part 2: Chat - News

Viewing the News sent from the Owners & Admins within the account

  • At the top of the screen, there is a toggle where you can go between 'Chat' and 'News'. If you have any  messages from your company, you can click on 'News' to verify. In 'News' you can click on any messages from your company to read the message.

Best Practice Tips

  • To learn how to create your own 'News' for your account, see the News Messages article. (To create 'News' for your account your role will need to have the 'Manage News' permission turned on.
