Area Assignments (Web)

Area assignments made be issued on app.salesrabbit.com > Sales Hub > Map. 
This feature is available to anyone who has the "Manage Areas" enabled in Settings > Roles and Permissions. 

Note: The web app map is designed for Area assignment only. It is not (currently) possible to view Leads or User Locations on the web app map.

To create and assign Areas in the Web App (app.salesrabbit.com) go to Sales Hub>Map.

Instructions to draw and assign Areas:

First, you must select an office to draw an Area for a user. Then click "Draw" and then begin to draw your Area by clicking around the map until you create a polygon. (Unlike the app where you click and drag to draw an Area, here you will basically click to "connect the dots" of the Area you are drawing).

After the Area is drawn, it will be shaded grey meaning that it has not yet been assigned to a user. 

To assign the newly drawn to a user within the office you had previously chosen, click anywhere inside the Area which will bring up a box labeled "Area" on the right. In this box will be a drop menu that has all the users listed from the previously selected office. Click on the desired user(s) and then click "save." Once assigned, the Area will appear in the color of the user who it has been assigned to.

That user can now log into their SalesRabbit app and view their assigned Area. That Area will function just like an Area created in the app. It will populate DataGrid and be able to be reassigned by other management users.

 

In order to delete an Area click on the Area on the map, and then click on "Delete" in the top right corner.

Note: it is better to unassign an Area rather than delete the Area to do strategic Area management when returning to those places.
