This guide outlines the steps for setting up a points competition in Amplify, including defining competition types, selecting layouts, choosing participants, detailing settings, and assigning prizes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding for effective competition management.
To begin, go to 'Competitions' on the left had side and then click '+Create New' in the upper right hand corner.
Step 1 - Competition Type
Search for "Points" in the competition creation wizard.
Step 2 - Layout
Choose a layout for the competition's theme as displayed on TV-monitors.
Step 3 - Participants
Decide if Teams, Companies, or Custom Teams will compete, with options for Executive switch enabling cross-company competitions.
Step 4 - Settings
Define competition's name, duration, winner declaration criteria, and privacy settings.
Step 5 - Prizes
Assign prizes for competition winners, with flexibility for multiple winners and prize types.
Step 6 - Finish
Publish the competition to selected playlists for display on TV-screens and finalize by adding the competition.
