Article Overview

This article will show you how to add a proposal to a project as well as guide you through when and how to request an expert design.

TIP: This feature is only available to companies that have added the Proposals addon to their billing plan. If you would like to add this to your plan, please contact our Support at (801) 418-9009.

 


 

Part 1: How and when to request an expert design

There are 2 cases you would need to request an expert design from Aurora.

Anytime the Roof AI does not adequately detect the roof of the house. Examples of this would be: it does not outline the roof of the house correctly, we are adding additional buildings to the proposal that the AI has not detected, or we need to provide additional insights/ make any custom changes.

 

If the Roof AI does not adequately detect the roof of the house follow the steps below:

1) Navigate to the proposal click "View Design". This will open the design in Aurora.

2) In Aurora: on the left hand side option menu click on the house with the plus sign. Click Request Expert Model.

Alternatively you can request Aurora Design Support within the project details. This option will be used if you need to provide additional insights about the design to the expert designer, or you need to request custom changes to the design. 

1) Navigate to the project by going to your Proposals Dashboard. Click Pipeline. Next click on your project to open the Project Details. 

2) Once you are on the Project Details page, click on "Aurora Design Request" In the upper right hand corner.

3) This will open a webpage to Submit a request to Aurora. (Note: You will need to enter the Aurora Project URL.)

Part 4: When to use the "Sync Design" option

Anytime you make an edit in Aurora and you are not seeing those changes reflected on the project in your pipeline: click Sync Design at the top of the Project Details page

Part 5: Advanced Options

 

In the left hand menu of SalesRabbit click SalesHub. Click Proposals. This will open your Proposals Pipeline. Click the project you need to edit.

Once on the Project Details page, scroll to the bottom and click >Expand Advanced Options.

Rate Tariff: Here you can add/update the Utility company as well as the Average Cost per kWh

Power Consumption: Allows you to update the Annual Usage

Change Design: Choose from drop down of designs attached to project. (if your design is not in the drop down, follow the steps below "How to Change a Project ID) 

Change Project ID: By using this option, you will be replacing the Aurora project attached to this proposal. If you would like to just change the design, please use the 'Sync Design' option

Request Design: Will request design from Aurora automatically-  project will be placed in to the "No Lidar Available Pending Aurora Design" pipeline

Archive: This Archives the project and places it into "Archived Projects" in your Proposals Dashboard
