Frequently Asked Questions
What is “Lead Convert Status"?
This is an optional field that defines the default status for an opportunity converted from a lead. The opportunity will display this status when selected and defined.
This only happens if you use SalesRabbit to convert leads to opportunities.
Does SalesRabbit create and update leads?
Yes. Creating and updating leads is enabled by default. The only exception is if you are converting 'Leads' to 'Opportunities'. When a lead is converted to an opportunity the lead is no longer able to be updated in Salesforce.
What is the process for uploading a file?
Any files located in the files section of the lead will pass into Salesforce. There is a two-minute delay after submitting the lead to Salesforce to allow for proper file upload.
How do the User IDs and Lead IDs work with External IDs?
Salesforce creates an ID for every object in its platform. For SalesRabbit to send the correct information about a lead, we need to link the records by adding Salesforce's lead ID to our lead object. It is a similar process for users except we use the 'External ID' field to add the salesforce 'Owner ID' in order to link the two. See our Salesforce | Setup article for more info on setting this up.
Do I need need to wait to submit the form if the digital contract hasn’t shown in files yet?
Waiting is not required. The integration automatically has a two-minute delay to account for uploading to the files area in SalesRabbit.

With the SalesForce integration is it possible to connect more than one form?
Yes. However, the basic structure of the form must follow the pattern outlined in our Salesforce | Setup article.
If I only want to use lead sync do I have to create a form?
No, forms are optional and can be omitted in the setup process.
Pro Tips:

- Make sure all keys in the form are matching the setup requirements in the Salesforce | Setup article.
- Make sure your authentication with both SalesRabbit and Salesforce is 'Admin' level or higher.
- Double-check all custom fields are created in Salesforce with the correct key values.
- Make sure the specified field level access is set to "Read & Write". (Field level security)
